The best time of year for this trip is either Spring (mid-March to late June) or Autumn/Winter (October to February).

The above model is based upon 4 nights in an authentic 2 or 3- star hotel in the heart of the historical center of Valencia (bed and breakfast basis).

3 days of guided bird watching at the local wetlands, mountains and steppe.
A typical plan involves:
DAY 1
Arrival at Valencia airport. Collection and transfer to the hotel can be provided.
DAY 2
Guided bird watching at the premium reserves of Albufera de Valencia.
DAY 3
Guided bird watching at either the high steppe or the mountains of inland Valencia (depending on season).
DAY 4
Guided bird watching at the Northern coastal wetlands of Valencia. This takes in beach, dunes, coastal lagoons, reed beds and farmland.
DAY 5
Free time to explore the city of Valencia before returning to the airport. Transfer to the airport can be provided.

This is an extremely popular trip for couples. Based on two people sharing a room, indicative pricing is from 600€ per person.
This includes 4 nights’ accommodation on bed and breakfast basis, all local transport and professional guiding services throughout the trip. Flights, lunches, dinners, drinks etc. are not included. For larger groups of more than two people, we could offer reduced rates.
