Timing
Valencia is a vast area with a wide range of habitats and bird life. The weather is generally good during winter time and the days are sufficiently long to enjoy good sessions in the hides, spring and summer could be quite warm but it could be organized in a suitable way.
All hides are very comfortable and can easily hold 3 photographers with equipment. With regards to lenses and cameras, a zoom lens (120-300, 100-400 and 150-600) andfixed lenses (300-400mm) would work best and of course a tripod.
People normally take a packed lunch which can be bought locally.
The hide sessions can be modifid according on the needs of the group and the weather / light conditions.

DAY 1
Morning - Reception
Reception at Valencia Airport.
Afternoon & Evening - La Cantera Hide
Target species include Black Wheatear, Serin, Hoopoe, Kestrel, Iberian Grey Shrike, Green Woodpecker and more.
Overnight - Hotel Puerta de la Serrania
We suggest to overnight in Hotel Puerta de la Serrania to reduce driving time to the hides, otherwise accommodation could be arranged according to the client wishes to overnight in the City of Valencia.
DAY 2
Morning - Bonelli’s Eagle Hide
Evening - Passerines Hide
Target species include Rock Bunting, Cirl Bunting, Black Redstart, Sardinian Warbler, and more.
Overnight - Hotel Puerta de la Serrania
DAY 3
Full Day - Farmland Passerine Hide
Target species include Ring Ouzel, Mistle Trush, Cirl Bunting, Rock Sparrow, Brambling, Crossbill and more.
