Within easy reach of Valencia are a number of mountain sierras that provide habitat for some fabulous raptors. We run this trip any time of the year, providing according to seasons a wide range of bird species.
Bonelli’s Eagle..Águila de Bonelli
Species
Favorites include Bonelli’s Eagle, Golden Eagle, Griffon Vulture, Raven, Chough, Black Wheatear and Blue Rock Thrush. This trip can also provide the opportunity to enjoy other mountain / forest species such as Crested Tit, Rock Bunting, Sardinian Warbler, Rock Sparrow and Crag Martin.

Spring trip
Our Mountain Bird Life Spring Trip involves a short walk amongst beautiful mountain scenery, through forested peaks and later into a spectacular gorge.
From March until September we can also expect to see the magnificent Short-toed Eagle, Booted Eagle, Alpine Swift, Golden Oriole, Melodious Warbler, even during some good rainy years Olivaceous Warbler could be one of the target species.
Winter trip
If you are planning a winter trip also the mountain peaks provide magnificent environment grounds for another fascinating bird – the Alpine Accentor with quality views of these wonderful birds.

The tour price includes tour leader’s services and transportation from a prior agreed starting point (Usually clients´ accommodation).
Binoculars and the use of telescopes are provided at no extra cost.
Travel insurance, drinks, food (unless arranged by prior agreement), and items of a purely personal nature are not included.
