Experience 7 Day Trip in 10 different Professional Photo Hides combining Valencia & El Taray.

Timing
Mid-March to late July are excellent months for photography trips. The weather is a bit warm and the days are long to enjoy good sessions in the hides.
All hides are very comfortable and can easily hold 3 photographers with equipment. With regards to lenses and cameras, a zoom lens (120-300, 100-400 and 150-600) and fixed lenses (300-400mm) would work best and of course a tripod.
The hide sessions can be modified depending on the needs of the group, bird species and the weather / light conditions.

DAY 1
Morning - Reception
Reception at Valencia Airport and transfer to the hide.
Afternoon & Evening - Crag Passerines Hide I
Target species include Black Wheatear, Serin, Hoopoe, Kestrel, Iberian Grey Shrike, Green Woodpecker and more.
Overnight - Hotel Puerta de la Serrania
Transfer to overnight at Hotel Puerta de la Serrania.
DAY 2
Morning - Bonelli’s Eagle Hide
This is extremely requested during June and July providing the opportunity to photograph the adult pair and their chicks. An impressive experience enjoying these eagles only a few 14 meters from the hide.
Evening - Crag Passerines Hide II
Target species include Black-eared Wheatear, Blue Rock Thrush, Iberian Grey Shrike and more.
Overnight - Hotel Puerta de la Serrania
DAY 3
Morning - Griffon & Egytian Vultures Hide
Evening - El Taray
Transfer to El Taray (2.30 hours driving).
Overnight - Hotel La Lola
Overnight at Hotel La Lola.
DAY 4
Morning - Raptors Hide
Target species include Spanish Imperial Eagle, Goshawk, Common Buzzard, Red Kite and more.
Evening - Raptors Hide
Target species include Marsh Harrier, Common Buzzard and more.
Overnight - Hotel La Lola
DAY 5
Morning - Pin-tailed Sandgrouse Hide
Other species... Collared Pratincole and more waders. Hide designed and installed at water level.
Evening - Bee-eater Hide
Overnight - Hotel La Lola
DAY 6
Morning - Hydro Hide or Roller Hide
If you haven’t experience hydro hide photography, this is an excellent opportunity for photograph White-headed Duck, Black-necked Grebe or any other waterfowl. Hydro hide has an extra cost of 60€ per person.
Evening - Little Owl Hide
Overnight - Hotel La Lola
DAY 7
Morning - Lesser Kestrel Hide
Target species include Penduline Tit, Bearded Tit, Spanish Sparrow, Water Pipit and more.
Evening - Transfer
Transfer to Valencia (2.30 hours driving)
Overnight - Valencia
Overnight in a Standard Hotel at Valencia Airport.
