Alicante Wetlands

The Alicante Wetlands trip comprise several premium reserves areas ideal for bird watching. This trip provides an enormous range of species and diverse habitats.


Place

It´s an extremely rich environment, influenced by the seasons there´s always something interesting to see. This designated Natural Park provides habitats for resident birds, summer visitors, wintering species and an array of passage migrants.

Our Alicante Wetlands trip takes in many different “hot spots” of this huge site, often including some restricted and highly protected sites, and is adapted according to the season. By joining us, you can be sure to make the very most of what this site has to offer.


Species

The species list for this superb site is far too extensive to include here. However, depending on the season, we can expect to see some fabulous species including Glossy Ibis, Greater Flamingo, Collared Pratincole, Squacco Heron, Purple Heron, Purple Swamphen, Little Bittern, White-headed Duck, Marbled Teal, Bluethroat, Moustached Warbler, plus a wide range of waders. Raptors include Booted Eagle, Marsh Harrier, Peregrine Falcon and Greater Spotted Eagle from November until March.

160€ for 1 person plus 30€ per additional person.

Our pricing rate is designed to afford maximum value across all group sizes, smaller groups or even individuals, whilst still offering fair and competitive rates for larger groups.


Includes

The tour price includes the services of the tour leader throughout and complimentary land travel from a prior agreed starting point (where feasible this is usually the clients´ holiday accommodation).
